STAKE

1. Participants may compete in one or both vocal and instrumental modalities.

2. All those national or foreign applicants who are studying music, amateurs or professionals with music, may participate in this contest.

3. The duration of each video clip must not exceed 5 minutes.

4. Participation in this contest includes the transfer of rights of the participants for the recording of image and sound in the interpretation of the works presented.

REGISTRATION

1. Registration will be made through the registration form that will be available on the web https://en.uwmusic.net/showdetalentosuwmusic in the PARTICIPATE button

2. The registration period will be open from October 1 to December 12 of the current year.

3. On December 17, 2022, the video clips of the admitted participants will be published on the UNITED WORLD MUSIC YouTube channel.

4.  Participants must pay the registration fee of $10USD in the bank accounts of the UWMUSIC music center or via PayPal. Participants studying at UWMUSIC will be exempt from paying the registration fee.

5. The live broadcast will take place on the UNITED WORLD MUSIC YouTube channel, along with the final results and the awards and honorable mentions ceremony, on Saturday of the second week of March of the year following the call, at the times of:

 -12:00 pm - USA - Peru - Colombia

- 2:00 p.m. - Brazil - Argentina

- 6:00 p.m. - Spain - Italy

COMPETITION AND SELECTION PHASES

The contest consists of two phases: preliminary and final

1.  In the preliminary phase, the contestants will send their mp4 video clips of a maximum duration of 5 minutes to the email: uwmusic@uwmusic.net

2. The preliminary phase will take place for 12 consecutive weeks where the artists call on their followers to subscribe to the UNITED WORLD MUSIC channel to like their videos (followers' subscription to the channel is important to keep the public informed about the contest and tracking the likes of your favorite artist, since the main objective of the Talent Show is to educate and make the musical works of our participants known to the general public, thus contributing to the dissemination, appreciation and conservation of the musical expressions of the artists of each country, that is why the opinion and participation of the artist's followers is important.. ) The talent show is also evaluated by a jury of music professionals and audiovisual producers, where according to the category the following items are taken into account: Best Musical Performer, Best Audiovisual Production, Musical Innovation, Best Musical Composition and Arrangement. 

3. Voting will close 1 hour before the final phase of the contest begins.

4.  The final phase will take place  on Saturday of the second week of March of the year following the call, at the times of:

 -12:00 pm - USA - Peru - Colombia

- 2:00 p.m. - Brazil - Argentina

- 6:00 p.m. - Spain – Italy

   5. All the contestants who obtain the highest number of subscribers and accumulated likes in their video clips (in the videos that will be published on the       UNITED WORLD MUSIC YouTube channel) and the evaluation of the jury of the contest  , will go to the final phase for the live broadcast of their musical works on the YouTube channel. youtube UNITED    WORLD MUSIC on Saturday of the second week of March of the year following the call, at the times of:

    -12:00 pm - USA - Peru - Colombia

    - 2:00 p.m. - Brazil - Argentina

    - 6:00 p.m. - Spain – Italy

    6. The jury may at any time interrupt the transmission of the video clips or any of the live performances, if it deems it appropriate.

    7. The order of the participants in both phases will be established by categories and in alphabetical order according to the surnames.

JURY

1.  jury will be made up of professionals proposed by the UWMUSIC music studies center and the organizing committee of the UWMUSIC TALENT SHOW 

2. The public and subscribed followers who participate with their likes in the video clips published on the UNITED WORLD MUSIC YouTube channel.

3. The jury's decision will be public in the live broadcast of the final phase, and any of the established prizes may be declared shared. Special mentions may also be awarded.

4. The jury's decision will be announced in the live broadcast on the UNITED WORLD MUSIC YouTube channel on Saturday of the second week of March of the year following the call.

5. The awards ceremony will also take place in the transmission.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES

1. Participation in the UWMUSIC TALENT SHOW implies full acceptance of the content of its previously established bases.

2. The UWMUSIC musical studies center, together with the Organizing Commission of the UWMUSIC TALENT SHOW, reserve the right to modify the planned program.

3. Any doubt about the interpretation or modification of the bases will be resolved by the UWMUSIC musical studies center in coordination with the organizing commission of the UWMUSIC TALENT SHOW. 

4. The audiovisual recording and the taking of photographs in any act of the contest is reserved to the organization of the same, for which reason the recording of videos or taking photos by persons outside said organization is not allowed.

AWARDS

 The following prizes are established by categories (Children, youth and adults)

1. There will be a certificate of participation for all contestants, which will be given to them at the end of their participation in the final phase.

2. The absence in the final phase of the contest will be understood as a waiver of the prizes. In case of not being able to attend the delivery of mentions, an authorized person, duly accredited for this purpose in advance, may be delegated.
